Disney’s Halloween Festival and Disney’s Enchanted Christmas seasons have been officially announced for Disneyland Paris with their corresponding dates guests can enjoy the spookiest and most festive times of the year.
As the summer season continues attention starts to shift towards the end of the calendar year and for Disneyland Paris, that means two major seasons. Halloween and Christmas are always two exception times to visit the resort which have garnered their own set of loyal fans for the past 27 years.
This year will see a very unique and different kind of seasons compared to normal as the global COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic continues to spread. All of the current health and safety measures in place at Disneyland Paris are expected to continue throughout both festivals meaning each will be adjusted to accommodate.
Disney’s Halloween Festival will be the first to return to Disneyland Park from 26th September 2020 – 1st November 2020. Little detail has been provided yet on what to expect this year from the Autumnal festival but at the very least guests will enjoy the magnificent harvest inspired decorations with some Disney Villains added for good measure.
Unfortunately however, the Halloween Parties (or Soirées, as they are more commonly known as) have been cancelled for 2020 and will not appear during the season. The hard ticket events are typically a staple attraction to many fans of the Halloween period offering a chance to dress in costume in the resort as well as experience unique shows and character meet & greets.
Just one week after the spookified festivities have wrapped up it will be time to get festive as Disney’s Enchanted Christmas will run from 7th November 2020 – 10th January 2021.
It has been no secret that a new Christmas parade has been in the works and was lined up to debut this year, although its status is currently unknown due to the resort’s temporary closure and subsequent fallout from the global pandemic. While more information on the season is expected soon there is the very real possibility the new parade will be pushed back to Christmas 2021.
More details on both the Halloween and Christmas seasons for 2020 at Disneyland Paris are expected to be announced soon. Be sure to stay tuned here and over on Twitter for the latest news as and when it happens.
