World of Disney is to temporarily re-open for three consecutive weekends as hundreds of items will appear on sale.
Disneyland Paris is currently closed until at least 2nd April as the resort continues its second temporarily closure throughout the Winter period in accordance to a French government lockdown and restrictions to help suppress the spread of infection during the global pandemic
The Disney Village flagship store will welcome guests once more from Friday – Sunday for the next three weekends. The store will open from 12:00pm – 5:00pm to ensure guests and Cast Members alike can continue to comply to the recent 6:00pm curfew introduced throughout the country.
As with any area in the resort that has seen a temporary re-opening since last March all health & safety regulations will be required and practiced for those hoping to shop during these times. Face masks are mandatory for all guests who are 6 years old or over, social distancing will be enforced with appropriate markings found throughout the store and hand sanitation stations will be found at the entrances. In the interest of limiting the potential spread of infection guests are also advised not to touch any items unless they intend to purchase them.
With the rest of Disneyland Paris closed, including the onsite hotels and guest parking, it will be locals close to the resort who will be able to benefit the most from this weekend offering. To cater for this free parking will be available via the Indigo Car Park (situated right next to Disney Village) for all guests who make a purchase within the store. This complimentary 1 hour voucher can be redeemed at the till when making a purchase, so please ensure you are only visiting if you are planning to pick up some items from the store.
Opening in 2012, World of Disney became the flagship Disney branded store of DLP’s entertainment complex and a beacon of what the future can hold for the area. Found right by the old entrance it is impossible to miss and has seen a number of brand new merchandise launches over its 9 year history, as well as being a one-stop shop for any guests looking for essentials at the beginning or end of a Disneyland Paris trip.
Tying in with this re-opening, a wide variety of products will be available on discount as part of the annual Winter Sale. Up to 350 items ranging from toys, homeware accessories and more will see a significant price cut with many up to 70% off. Once more, Annual Pass discount can also be redeemed even on sale items, meaning there is potential for some real bargains to be had.
