Taking over the parade route is the second part of The Lion King & Jungle Festival rich collection of entertainment, The Jungle Book Jive! Budding adventurers Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy will embark on a colourful and musical journey through the Indian jungle, encountering the likes of Baloo and King Louie along the way.

With fantastic new outfits, awesome new animal floats, lively dance numbers and a catchy, upbeat song, The Jungle Book Jive is surely one not to be missed this Summer in Disneyland Park. I already have the sure to be favourite song “We’re On Our Way” stuck in my head.

Every morning during The Lion King & Jungle Festival, Adventureland will be the place to be for guests to check out and join in on the Djemba Joy Village and their colourful music beats. Discover an African inspired village as you take part in live music from the talented Djemba Academy, happy to teach you how to help create the beautiful music they’re famous for.

Keep your eyes peeled too, as this may even be the chance to spot a Jungle VIP! King Louie is never too far away from a swinging beat and is sure to make an appearance when he hears the traditional sounds of the Djemba drums.

Guests will be able to encounter the Djemba Joy Village every day during the season until 2:00pm.

NEW – Timon’s “MataDance”

Sticking around in Adventureland, Lion King duo Timon and Pumbaa will be interacting with guests in Timon’s “MataDance”, another brand new segment to The Lion King & Jungle Festival.

Dance along with the famous double act as they teach you the ways of Hakuna Matata through the rhythms and moves of the Savannah in the fun, hilarious way the pair only know how.

Meet your favourite Lion King and Jungle Book characters

The Lion King & Jungle Festival characters

Of course, a dedicated season at Disneyland Paris is always a celebration the Disney characters love to be a part of, and The Lion King & Jungle Festival will be no exception.

So far, only Lion King’s Rafiki and Jungle Book’s King Louie have been confirmed to be meeting guests during the season. Be sure to check back regularly however if and when this character roster grows.

Indulge yourself with season inspired treats

The Lion King & Jungle Festival treats

Much like the super powered snacks as part of Marvel Season of Super HeroesMarvel Season of Super Heroes, The Lion King & Jungle Festival is the perfect time to indulge in some delicious and brand new inspired treats just for the celebration.

Nutella lovers will be happy to see the chocolate paw that is sure to satisfy their sweet tooth. My personal recommendation however would be the chocolate and coconut paw on a stick, a beautifully different and refreshing sweet treat fitting just right with the season.

Pick up the latest Jungle merchandise

Looking to immortalise your time at The Lion King & Jungle Book Festival with some unique and dedicated merchandise? Look out in stores all around Disneyland Park that is sure to be populated with the latest items inspired by the brand new season. T-shirts, mugs and sweaters are just some of the new merchandise you will find under the new festival line.

Perhaps most exciting however is the dedicated merch range focused on the new stage show, Rhythms of the Pride Lands. Show you love for the new musical performance with clothing, mugs and even tote bags in a range inspired by the official poster to the flagship show of the season. It is rare for a specific piece of entertainment to get a full merchandise line so this is certainly something to be excited about.
