Halloween costumes to be allowed – for one day only – this 31st October

For the first time ever, guests will be allowed to wear their own Halloween costumes into the Disneyland Paris parks during normal operating hours.

Halloween costumes and fancy dress is a tradition long connected to the spooky time of year, but one reserved to the exclusive Halloween Parties running at least once each year in Disneyland Park. Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic however the once planned Soirées have been cancelled for this year.

By way of compensating, guests attending Disneyland Paris on All Hallo’s Eve will still be able to enjoy dressing up as their favourite Disney characters or villains, only this time under the daylight of normal park operating hours.

This will be a truly unique experience for any guests lucky enough to visit Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park during the gruesome festival to wear your favourite Halloween costumes during a normal day within the parks. Of course, standard costuming rules normally found during a Halloween Party will apply, including the prohibition of full face masks, overly gory and frighting costumes and outfits guests may mistaken for actual Disney characters.

In line with the latest safety measures to help combat the infection of COVID-19, all health and safety measures will still be in effect for 31st October whether guests are wearing a costume or not. This will include the mandatory wearing of face masks, social distancing and photos to be taken from a safe distance.
