Safety for guests and Cast Members is the top priority for Disneyland Paris. As the novel coronavirus COVID-19 officially declared a pandemic French government recently issued a ban on gatherings of over 1,000 in an enclosed space.
In response to the outbreak and government advice, the Princess Pavilion was temporarily closed until further notice with face characters removed for the character meet & greet rota throughout the resort. In their place a mini parades called the Princess Promenade currently runs several times a day.
Other precautionary measures taken by the resort include the closure of Single Ride lines, the use of disposable cutlery and closing of the dance floor in Billy Bob’s Country Saloon.
It is as of yet unknown if Passholders who purchased tickets for Disneyland Park Adventures will be refunded their tickets, or if the event will be rescheduled to a future day. If you were planning to attend the AP Night and visiting Disneyland Paris it is strongly recommended to regularly keep on tabs with the latest news and for any statements by the resort and French government for any future developments.
